Process

Before moving a quest into "quizable in prod", "add story", go through the following checklist

  • Are all the facts covered for all reading ages
  • Check that questions match the relevant fact.
  • For all reading ages
    • Get all the questions wrong (check feedback, responses are correct and fit into available space)
    • Get all the questions correct (check feedback, responses are correct and fit into available space)

Reading age 1 - Only use basic/limited vocabulary. No complex or difficult phrases. Describe the concept in a simple way is better. Reading age 2 - Complex/Difficult phrases are possible, but must always come with a description of the concept. Try and limit complex vocabulary. Reading age 3 - Complex/Difficult phrases are fine.

Best Practice: Images should be either

300px wide and less than 200px high

Reason Phaser has naive image scaling and scaled images appear blurry. Resizing with tools outside phaser achieves better quality.

Mark-me

Best Practice: Feedback on wrong answer should summarize the question and highlight the correct answers in green

Reason When you get a wrong mark me, it is difficult to figure out where you actually went wrong. Much easier to see in the feedback. Highlight in green makes the correct answers even easier to spot.
